Join WiDS for our signature Speed Mentoring Event in Victoria B.C. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026! Our Speed Mentorship events provide an engaging and dynamic professional development experience for women at all stages of their careers in the defence and security sector.

This unique event offers attendees the opportunity to engage in multiple 15-minute mentoring conversations with accomplished professionals from across the defence and security industries, representing both public and private sector organizations. Gain valuable insights on career growth, leadership, and navigating the industry, followed by a networking reception to continue building meaningful connections.

We are also honoured to feature our Keynote Speaker, Jody Thomas, Senior Advisor at Counsel Public Affairs and former National Security and Intelligence Advisor to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (2022-2024), who will share insights from her distinguished career.
