Not even a global pandemic can stop the Mari-Tech Conference and Exhibition from taking place in April 2021! It's time to come together virtually to celebrate the marine engineering community’s resilience and talk about the business and personal opportunities ahead of us.
The Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering (CIMarE) and its Atlantic Branch, host of the next Mari-Tech, thank you for your continued support and patience while we prepare for Mari-Tech 2021. At last we are pleased to announce the rescheduling of our conference and exhibition “Vision, Innovation and Trending in the Marine Sector” to a unique virtual conference experience on April 27 – 29, 2021.
Over the past several months we have all adapted to a new form of connection for business, personal opportunities and while lacking the nuances of a face-to-face Mari-Tech event, a virtual conference offers many attractive benefits for attendees to include:
- Increasing access to corporations and government officials as they are increasingly more comfortable participating and engaging in online conferencing and webinars
- Networking tools empowerment for attendees and exhibitors to connect live with one another, in private, on secured one-on-one chats or video conferencing

The Mari-Tech 2021 committee is committed to presenting a high-quality virtual event experience at Mari-Tech 2021. In the coming weeks, our website will be re-launched with updates to the program and agenda.
CanPlan Event & Conference Services Inc. led by Patricia Pearson along with Ann Clemensen and Maria Montesinos will be the conference management team working with us to plan and execute Mari-Tech 2021. In the coming weeks, the team at CanPlan will communicate directly with those who had made payments to Mari-Tech 2020 (sponsors, exhibitors and registrants) on options should they wish to carry forward their participation in to a virtual Mari-Tech 2021.
