Boatyard projects vary in scope from local recreational & commercial vessels to Department of National Defense & Government of Canada vessels including Coast Guard & RCMP.

    Ocean Pacific Marine is currently accepting applications for:

    • Marine Service Technician
    A Marine Service Technician troubleshoots, repairs and installs marine related systems

    including but not limited to:

    • Heating

    • Black water

    • Fresh water (including water makers)

    • Running gear

    • Engine alignment

    • Bilge pumping

    • Thru-hulls

    • AC/DC electrical

    • Engine control systems

    • Hydraulics

      Vessels requiring repair and refit range from pleasure craft sailboats and luxury yachts to tug boats, fishing, Navy, Coast Guard and RCMP vessels.

      The ideal candidate will have a certification as a Marine Service Technician or comparable trade. Candidates with extensive experience and no certification are also welcomed to apply. ABYC training will be considered an asset.

      This is a full time, Monday-Friday position.
