This event will be held in strict adherence with the direction of the Provincial Health Officer (PHO) and WorkSafeBC. Safety is top priority and the following measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of everyone.
Please note if you or others in your household are feeling unwell or are experiencing fever, cough, sneezing or sore throat, YOU MUST NOT ATTEND.
- Physical distancing of 2 metres will be adhered to throughout the event.
- The event will be held in the Arbutus Ballroom and seating will be spaced 2 metres apart.
- There will be no more than 50 people in total.
- No paper agenda, business cards or other material will be distributed.
- We ask delegates to place their business card in the designated container and after 72 hours, the cards will be scanned and emailed to delegates.
- Hotel staff have their temperatures taken before their shift.
- Hotel staff will be wearing masks.
- There will be extra cleaning and disinfecting of all areas, including washrooms.
- Delegates are welcome to wear masks or other PPE if they so choose.
- Masks will be available for those who would like to wear one.
- Delegates should park in the underground parking and the gate will be open for everyone to leave. No one will be required to enter a code on the pin pad.
- Delegates should walk up from the underground parking (following the signage) and enter the Ballroom through the foyer doors from the front driveway loop.
- There will be a designated "entrance" and "exit" for the Ballroom.
- The names and contact phone numbers of everyone in attendance will be recorded.
- Chairs for the speakers will be replaced between panels.
- During the panel Q&A, a microphone will be available for each speaker and they will not be passed from one person to another.
